This is the statue of Hachikō. The dog who faithfully waitind for his owner to come home from work for years, even after the owner passed away. The statue, and park, are dedicated to him and his loyalty. This was a quick shot, as I was just passing through this station, but a rare find and photo opportunity none the less.
